Holidays are just round the corner!

Lovely ones, we really need to start the ball rolling!~

Preparation for your Christmas party or gift should be well planned and creative.

While most of us are too engrossed in our hectic schedules, we have some Hearty Ideas for you this Holidays Season!

Christmas Ideas

1. Create your own Christmas Tales

Spend some quality time creating your own Christmas stories. You can use scrabble tiles or flash cards to come up with a word that you need to use in your story. Use your imagination and let the fun begins!

2. Popcorn Making

What is Christmas without some delicious snacks! Try this recipe with your love ones!

3. Goodie bag

Mix of treats that your partner loves-hello panda, pretz, chocolate, fruit bar and anything that you know your partner will adore or love.

This is a simple “Fun-Pack” during the holiday season! Places I would recommend for cheaper treats will be Giant Supermarket. However for those who are preparing something special and you has a mega budget, you can include Chocolate Truffles which are hot items this Christmas! Try Candy Empire or those chocolate boutiques.

4. Christmas Vouchers

For those with tighter budgets you can go for Christmas vouchers for your love ones~ Simple and easy! Promise a massage, cup of home made hot chocolate or even a kiss under the mistletoe :p

5. Christmas 10 Bucks Shopping Limit Special

Basically, prepare some material you will need for a card or present. Go to a random mall with someone special. Shop separately! Within that time frame and budget prepare a gift for him or her .

6. Christmas Ornament Making

With the help of last tutorial, you can make your own Christmas ornament! Just cut out various shapes like stars, hearts, diamonds or circles for snowman!

7. Cocktail Making:

Make your own killer cocktail to impress~! Rum Rum mamama ah!

8. Love Scavenger Hunt

Prepare a few lists to choose from. Example: Take photo with 5 different children on Orchard Road, find the first red Christmas tree, kiss under the mistletoe, shop for something under $5 or find Christmas related cookies! Bring your camera along as you will bring home really cool memories!

9. Simple Map of Sweet Nothings

Prepare a map with grids. Make sure you have one map for yourself (with the planted “mines”) and your love ones. You can do it on the beach or use the tiles on the floor ;p Prepare mushy lines or items which you can gives as a price.

10.Create your own Christmas Song Parody

You’ll need some Christmas songs, lyrics and your creativity. Change the lyrics and share the laughs~

11. Christmas Tree Decoration (on PAPER)

Take a piece of paper, take turn to draw or decorate a Christmas tree! You will never know how it will turnout. Use your right brain <3

12. Simple Fishing Snowflakes, Snowmen, Hearts… etc.

Paper clips, magnets and lotsa treats is all you need for this idea. Back to old school fishing games!The one with most items or the fastest wins.

13. Christmas Charade

Charade everything to do with Christmas! Food, movies, items, decoration and a special message to that special one!

14. Love Pictionary

It works like Charade. Instead of acting you can draw it out! For those who are artily inclined~

15. Be a Fashionista - Dress up your own Partner

Determine what he or she wears! Obviously something out of the norm but something that he/she is comfortable with or something you can convince them to wear :O Wigs, lash extension, spag, tank, blings? It’s up to you~!

[Key: Remember not to force upon someone to do something too outrageous and spoils the fun]

16.Simple Encoding of Love Messages

For geeky friends out there, encode your love message with binaries, hexogonxxx…. Well… if you are geeky enough you could use the Mayan characters? Up to you ;)

17. Hairstylist

Are you bored of his or her hair style? Choose a nice hair style for your partner /wigs and go out for a date with it! Be sporting but know your limits and most importantly your partner’s feeling!

Here's an interesting tutorial to show you how!

HOW TO CREATE YOU OWN HIDDEN MESSAGE

Step 1: You can get those note/ memo pad with scratchcard label with them!

If not you can try to create your very own scratchcard label from our tutorial at the bottom of the post.

Step 2: Plan your message and your secret message!

Step 3: Paste your scratchcard label onto your secret message and it is ready to go!

Do note that the paint might seep underneath the scotch tape.

Press the scotch tape firmly onto the plastic surface.

Let the mixture dry completely and remove with tender loving care (TLC).

This is a quick and easy tutorial on DIY cotton rabbit key chain.
If you do not want a key chain, you can vary this tutorial by attaching the rabbit on different object to make a book mark or even a hair pin.
Follow these simple steps and have fun~!

How to make a
DIY KAWAII RABBIT KEY CHAIN /HAND PHONE ACCESSORIES

Step 1:

Prepare the material

-Felt cloth/ old t-shirt (CLEAN FABRIC)

-Thread (similar or contrasting colour of the fabric)
-Key chain or other attachment such as a bookmark stem/ magnet

Step 2:

You can choose this layout for a rabbit or draw your own layout~!

Example a rabbit, cow, turtle, caterpillar and etc. (Depends on your sewing skill)

Cut out the desired shape

Step 3:

Sew the eyes and mouth on one of the layout

Step 4: Acquire some sewing skill

Step 5:

Attach it to a ready made key chain, strings or an ice cream stick as a bookmark!

Well it is simple... Think out of the box and always know your partner well, know what they like and their pet peeves are.

Keep chatting. Most of us know that successful relationships need ample communications and effective ones. Active sharing and listening is the key. It is basically why most of us fell in love. Be it verbally or visually. Basically, communication breaks the ice and this is the first step to maintain the lovely warm and fuzzy feeling of love.

How to know their pet peeves?
Is this testing your limits?
Fear not! By observing their body language you will understand them and if you don't... too bad.
Subtle frowning, lips pouting, eyes rolling, mood changing and abrupt actions will be some of the signs of disgust, anger, dissatisfaction and frustration.
